It became publicly known after 1884, when the entrance of the cave was physically enlarged to become accessible by small rowboats. Beside the outer entrance, the cave has its own natural entrance which is located below sea level, and in the past, it could only be accessed by diving. Since then, the cave has become the number one destination for tourists from all over the world. What is amazing is the natural phenomenon that creates a magical blue effect and silver shine. Come with us and find out how this happens!

Green Cave is hidden on the southwestern side of the islet of Ravnik, an islet in a string of islets located along the southeastern coast of Vis Island. The cave was named after the greenish glow of the sea, that is created by the green algae that infest the bottom.

Budikovac island – one of many unihabitated islands on Adrtiaic sea. Well known for its secluded beach and charming little beach bar that can be visited only by boat.

Pakleni islands – se of small islands located just across Hvar town. One could say seamen put it on the list of thing “to see” in Croatia. Today, Pakleni islands are known as a major nautical hot spot and probably the peak of gastro offer on Adriatic thanks to local restaurants like: ToTo’s, Laganini, Zori and others. Pakleni islands also host famous Carpe Diem Beach Bar located in one of many bays in Pakleni archipelago.

Hvar – cherry on top! The capital of Croatian tourism, summer hot-spot destination, located on the (officially) the sunniest island in Mediterranean. Don’t skip to visit some of its historical landmarks like main town square, cathedral, firs open public theatre in Europe, Arsenal….
